Nether Ervie is a smallholding of 27 acres, a farmhouse, the middlebarn, Forresters Cottage, and estate buildings.

The large barn is used in connection with the maintenance and improvement of the estate.

The land is fairly equally divided between a field for grazing stock and sheep, an area of mature mixed deciduous and evergreen woodland and a field being developed as a wildlife habitat.

There is a good variety of wildlife, rabbits abound and pheasants strut about the lawn. Deer will come out of the wood, quite close to the buildings. The Red kite visits. There are Red squirrels in the wood.
